THE NAME

見君美 — gin gwan mei

"mii" draws from the Japanese words for "to witness" (見) and "beauty" (美). In Cantonese, reading them together echoes the word for "you" (你), "你" in Janpese is "君". Together they form a simple promise: witnessing your most beautiful moment. In Japanese, 見 is pronounced "mi" and 美 is also "mi" — hence "mii".
