Payment Terms /

0. Bilingual Clause /

The English version is authoritative; Chinese (Traditional) is for convenience. In case of conflict, the English version prevails, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

1. Scope /

These Payment Terms govern all purchases made on the mii.events Platform, including purchases of "mii credits" (credit packs and on-demand top-ups) and feature entitlement unlocks. They supplement the Terms of Service and form part of your agreement with the Operator.

Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

2. The "mii credits" System / 「mii credits」系統

2.1 Nature of Credits / Credit 之性質. "mii credits" are a pre-paid, non-refundable (subject to Section 6) virtual unit used within the Platform to unlock premium features. They are:

  • not legal tender and not a regulated financial product; 非法定貨幣,亦非受監管之金融產品;
  • not redeemable for cash except where mandatory consumer or e-money law requires; 除消費者保護或電子貨幣法律強制要求外,不可兌換現金;
  • user-wide and tied 1:1 to your "account" (any role under the same account shares the same balance); 屬用戶層級,與閣下之「帳戶」採 1:1 對應(同一帳戶下之所有角色共用同一 餘額);
  • tracked in an immutable "transaction ledger"; 於不可竄改之「交易帳簿」中紀錄;
  • subject to the current pricing and product configuration at the time of purchase or use.

2.2 How to Obtain Credits / 獲取 Credit 之方法

  1. Credit pack purchase via Stripe with supported currency (USD / HKD) — ordinary commercial purchase.
  2. On-demand top-up at a premium per-credit rate when you are short for a specific action.
  3. Initial grant for newly-created Clients (Event Hosts), where the plan's "welcome allocation" configuration includes a grant. Initial grants are non-purchased and non-refundable.
  4. Operator-issued credits, at the Operator's discretion (promotion, goodwill, compensation). 由營運商酌情發放之 credit(推廣、善意補償、客戶關懷)。

3. Feature Entitlements /

Paid feature entitlements (e.g. custom invitation message templates, extended background-image carousel, footer customisation, OTP verification enforcement) are unlocked per Client entity and, once unlocked, remain available for the lifetime of that Client entity, benefiting all linked user accounts and scoped Agents, subject to the Terms of Service.

Each entitlement has per-plan pricing; the cost applicable to you is determined by your Client entity's "plan tier" at the time of unlock. A feature shown as "included" on your plan is enabled without a separate unlock; a feature shown as "complimentary" requires a one-click free claim that creates a permanent unlock record.

If the Operator later changes the credit cost or complimentary status of a feature, existing unlock records are honoured. Clients without an existing unlock record are subject to the updated rules at the time of unlock.

Some child entitlements require the parent entitlement to be available for the Client. You will be informed via the Platform UI when a parent unlock is required before a child unlock can proceed.

4. Credit Usage / Credit 使用

4.1 Certain platform actions consume "mii credits" on a per-unit, flat, or tiered basis. The credit cost is shown in a confirmation step before execution.

4.2 By confirming the action you authorise the Operator to deduct the previewed amount of credits from your wallet. An immutable "usage" record is created.

4.3 If a platform-initiated action fails on the Platform's side before any delivery has occurred, the Operator will use reasonable efforts to reverse the charge. For the avoidance of doubt, credit charges relate to the platform action requested; the outcome or quality of any downstream delivery (e.g. whether a message is read by the recipient) is outside the Operator's control and does not constitute a failure entitling reversal.

5. Pricing, Currencies, Taxes /

Current pricing is displayed in the Platform and governed by the "credit pricing schedule", "feature pricing configuration", and related pricing settings maintained by the Operator.

Purchases are charged in USD or HKD, selected by the User at purchase time. The preferred currency is saved on the user account at first purchase and may be changed for future purchases.

Quoted prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, levies, or withholdings unless explicitly stated otherwise. The User is responsible for any taxes chargeable on the purchase at the User's place of residence. The Operator may collect sales tax / VAT / GST where required by law and will issue the corresponding invoice / receipt.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you authorise Stripe to charge the payment method you provide for the purchase amount (including taxes).

6. Refunds /

All sales of credits and unlocks are final and non-refundable, except:

  1. where mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence provides otherwise; 閣下居住地強制性消費者保護法律另有規定;
  2. where the Operator, at its discretion, agrees to a refund via a documented Operator-initiated operation; 營運商酌情同意以有紀錄之營運商操作處理退款;
  3. where a duplicate or erroneous charge occurred for the same transaction.

Refunds are recorded in the Operator's "refund record" system and may be executed in one of the following forms:

Full Refund / 全額退款 Full amount / 全額 All purchased credits / 全部已購買 credit
Monetary Refund Only / 僅退款項 Custom / 自訂 None (User keeps credits) / 不扣 credit
Credit Adjustment Only / 僅調整 Credit None / 不退款 Custom / 自訂

Send refund requests within 7 days of the original charge to [email protected] (subject: Refund Request), including the Stripe payment reference and the reason.

A refund may cause the wallet balance to become negative when consumed credits are withdrawn. Until the balance is non-negative, no further unlocks or consumption may occur.

Credit. Initial grants, promotional credits, and Operator-issued credits are non-refundable and do not convert to money.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting the Operator may result in immediate suspension of the account pending resolution.

7. Fulfilment and Reconciliation /

7.1 Credits are fulfilled via whichever path fires first between Stripe webhook delivery and the server-side payment verification step. Both paths are idempotent; the User is credited exactly once per successful payment.

7.2 If credits are not reflected in the wallet within 10 minutes of payment confirmation, reload the page. If they are still missing after 30 minutes, contact [email protected] (subject: Credit Fulfilment) with the Stripe payment reference.

8. Invoices & Records /

On request, the Operator will issue a VAT / sales-tax-compliant receipt for purchases where applicable. Transaction history is available in the User's wallet page. Records are retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable tax law.

9. Suspension for Non-Payment /

If a charge is declined, disputed, or reversed, the Operator may (i) suspend paid features until the matter is resolved, (ii) reverse the corresponding credits, and (iii) temporarily disable paid-feature entitlements that were funded by the affected payment.

10. Changes to Pricing /

The Operator may change pricing, pack configurations, and entitlement costs. Changes apply prospectively only — credits already in your wallet and entitlements already unlocked are not revalued or revoked by price changes alone.
